Tanichthys albonubes, commonly known as White Cloud Mountain Minnows,
belong to the family Cyprinidae. These small freshwater fish are native
to China and are renowned for their peaceful nature and striking
coloration. With a genome characteristic of cyprinids, they are a
resilient and adaptable species that thrives in well-maintained
aquariums.
Requirements for a Happy and Healthy Living Environment:
- Tank Size: Provide a minimum tank size of 10 gallons for a small school.
- Temperature: Maintain a cooler water temperature between 64-72°F (18-22°C).
