| Puffers are back!!
After many months, we are restocked on all your favorite freshwater puffers- pea puffers, amazon puffers, Fahaka puffers, green spotted puffers, and figure eight puffers! |
|
| Pea Pufferfish-'Carinotetraodon travancoricus' The pea puffer, or Malabar dwarf puffer, is a true, freshwater pufferfish that is going to stay the size of its name- a pea!
They are known to be on the aggressive side but with enough plants and the right tank mates, anything is possible! |

Amazon Pufferfish - 'Colomesus asellus' The Amazon Puffer, which many know as "The Friendly Puffer" or Bee Puffer, is another true freshwater puffer and can actually thrive in a community tank, especially one that is planted.
They're seasonal and go fast so do not hesitate to get your hands on one!! |
|
Green Spotted Puffer- 'Tetraodon nigroviridis' and Figure 8 Puffer- 'Tetraodon biocellatus' Both the Green Spotted and Figure 8 puffers are brackish water fish, meaning they need water saltier than freshwater but still less salty than true salt water.
Every individual has a ton of personality along with unique color markings and patterns! |
|
| Fahaka Puffer- 'Tetraodon lineatus' The Fahaka puffer, aka NIle puffer or band puffer, can live in fresh or brackish water, but freshwater is recommended for home aquariums!
They do grow over a foot long so make sure you keep that in mind when looking at these guys~
