The Paskai Rainbowfish, scientifically known as Melanotaenia paskai,
belongs to the Melanotaeniidae family. These vibrant freshwater fish are
native to West Papua, Indonesia. Paskai Rainbowfish are recognized for
their striking coloration, with males displaying intense shades of blue,
yellow, and red during breeding displays. Their genome reflects
adaptations to the diverse aquatic environments they inhabit in their
native region.
Creating an ideal environment for Paskai Rainbowfish involves:
