It requires softer water with a rich substrate to thrive since it mainly draws nutrients from the root system. Lighting needs to be intense and CO2 is a must if you want this plant to thrive. It makes an excellent addition to the foreground due to its miniature size. This plant is hard to find and rarely sold outside of the hobbyist marketplace
