Hoplo Catfish - Hoplosternum thoracatum
The Hoplo Cat is the perfect fish for peaceful or semi-aggressive fish that are within similar size range.
These catfish are super friendly and are quite versatile with their temperature range (65-85 degrees F) so they can be kept with goldfish in a cooler temperature tank or with cichlids in a warm water tank.
Also known as the Hoplo Armored Cat.
Current size is around 2-3". Full size is anywhere from 6-8" in captivity.
