At Pet Zone SD, we understand that the well-being of your live fish is of the utmost importance to you. That's why we take great care in ensuring that your fish arrive in the best possible condition. In the unlikely event that your fish are Dead On Arrival (DOA) when shipped overnight, we want to make the process of resolution as easy as possible for you.
If this is not done, you WILL NOT RECEIVE get any consideration for an exchange or store credit.
**Note, if USPS is chosen as the form of shipment, we cannot guarantee live arrival of your livestock order; no exceptions.
In the event that your fish are DOA upon arrival, please take a clear photo of the fish immediately and email it to us at help@petzonesd.com. We understand that this can be a difficult time, and we want to make sure that we can address any issues as quickly as possible.
Please note that for USPS shipments we cannot guarantee live arrival of your livestock order. We are not responsible for any delays or weather that causes late shipments as they are out of our control and in the hands of the shipping company. Also, we are not responsible for any physical trauma, such as torn fins, scratches or other wounds to the fish, or any issues with your tank or water quality.
Once fish is released and the bag is opened, we are not in control after that and any warranty is null.
If your claim is valid, we will offer you a replacement or store credit for the DOA fish. Please note that shipping costs will not be refunded under any circumstances. If an exchange of another fish of equal value is preferred, the buyer will be responsible for shipping costs of that fish.
Buyer is responsible for knowing the local laws of their country/state/city/etc., as we are not responsible for shipping prohibited products or fish, which may be subject to confiscation from customs. Absolutely no refund will be given in these situations.
