Mexican Orange Dwarf Lobster (CPO) This is a freshwater lobster that is very hardy and will accept a number of foods ranging from sinking pellets to veggie matter. Their small size makes them great, even in community fish tanks. Just be sure to provide plenty of hiding spots for them to feel secure. They do well in nano tanks and planted aquariums. Max size is 1.5". Contrary to their larger cousins dwarf crayfish are generally peaceful. These crayfish have been selectively bred to display vibrant orange colors. Caution should be taken with any fish large enough for the dwarf crayfish to fit in the mouth. Invertebrates grow by shedding their exoskeleton in a process known as molting. Invertebrates are extremely sensitive during the molting process and may fall prey out in the open. Allow for good hiding places for them to escape to while molting their shells.
