Pet Zone Tropical Fish is proud to announce that aquascape pioneer Tom Barr will be one of our keynote speakers during our two-year anniversary weekend event in July. Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 7th, 2018. Tentative schedule to start is 12:30pm.

Tom Barr is a legend in the aquatic plant and aquascape hobby. He's contributed a tremendous amount to the hobby and is known for his Estimative Index (EI) fertilization method for aquatic plants. Barr worked with numerous companies around the world such as Tropica and Seachem and collaborated with many magnificent planted tank projects such as the one at Amazon HQ in Seattle. 

Tom will be co-hosting an aquascape lecture and workshop with us here at our Convoy District/Kearny Mesa location. Be sure to bring a notepad and a pen as you'll leave with plenty of knowledge on how to care of your planted tank!

Our two-year anniversary event will also be going on the entire weekend of July 6th-8th. We'll be doing many other free workshops and giving away a lot of raffle prizes so don't miss out (we have a special in-store sale as well).

This is open to the public but we do prefer you to RSVP on our event page so we can gauge the audience and plan seating according.
