The Red Spotted Severum, scientifically known as Heros efasciatus,
belongs to the Cichlidae family. It shares its genome with other Severum
species and is part of the diverse cichlid evolution originating from
South America.
Summary on Aquatic Life:
The Red Spotted Severum is a striking freshwater cichlid known for its
vibrant red coloration and distinctive spotted pattern. Originating from
the Amazon River basin, these cichlids exhibit moderate territorial
behavior and generally have a peaceful temperament. Providing a spacious
