Opae Ula Shrimp - Halocaridina rubra
The Opae Ula is one of the smallest and longest living shrimp, hence the name "SuperShrimp."
They originate from the Hawaiian Islands and you'll find them in brackish water pools next to the volcanos.
Common Names: Opae Ula Shrimp, Halocaridina rubra, Big Island shrimp, Hawaiian Red Shrimp, Volcano shrimp, Supershrimp, Anchialine Shrimp.
Current size is about 1/4" - just around 0.4" at the moment.
Max size is 0.47".
