Rotala Hra is a vibrant fast growing stem plant prized for its intense red to orange coloration under proper lighting and nutrients. Offered as a UNS tissue culture this plant is grown in sterile conditions and is completely free of algae pests and snails making it ideal for high quality aquascapes.

Plant Description
Rotala Hra features narrow pointed leaves that grow densely along upright stems. When provided with strong light and CO2 the plant develops striking shades of red orange and pink especially at the tops. In lower light conditions it may remain more green to yellow. It is commonly used as a midground to background plant and is popular in Dutch style and nature aquariums.

Growth and Care
This plant has a moderate to fast growth rate and responds very well to regular trimming which encourages bushy compact growth. It performs best in nutrient rich substrate with consistent fertilization. CO2 injection is strongly recommended to achieve the best coloration and overall plant health.

Lighting requirements are medium to high. Stronger lighting brings out deeper red tones while lower light results in greener growth. Regular trimming helps maintain shape and prevents shading of lower stems.

Water Parameters
Rotala Hra adapts well to a range of freshwater conditions but prefers clean stable water. Ideal temperature range is 68 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit. pH range should be between 5.5 and 7.5 with soft to moderately hard water.

Planting Instructions
Remove the plant from the tissue culture cup and rinse off all gel thoroughly under clean water. Separate into small portions and plant each group individually into the substrate with spacing to allow light and flow around each stem. Initial melting is normal as the plant transitions from emersed to submerged growth.

UNS Tissue Culture Benefits
UNS tissue culture plants are grown in laboratory conditions ensuring they are free from algae snails parasites and pesticides. They are safe for shrimp tanks and sensitive livestock and provide a healthy start for planted aquariums.

Summary
Rotala Hra UNS Tissue Culture is an excellent choice for aquarists seeking bold color and lush growth in planted tanks. With proper lighting CO2 and nutrients this plant delivers stunning red tones and professional aquascaping results.
